Trying mobile post

So since I am without internet for a bit I am trying this mobile posting from my phone. I am not so good at typing on this touch screen yet so I am happy for spell check / auto correct. Hoping to be able to do more posts this way since I haven't been good about posting much. Next is to figure out how to post pics from the phone. But now is time to get back to my mommy duties and clean up the kids' lunch mess.

The BIG intro

So this is supposed to be my intro but not sure how it will go. I have 3 kids supposed to be cleaning a bed room but all I get is them complaining about what one or the other is doing. We'll see how long this actually takes me.

I'm Shelley, 34. I'm married to my wonderful hubby, Steve. We've been together since I was 17 (so 17 years now) and we've been married for nearly 15 years (May 11). We have been blessed with 4 beautiful children, although somedays I feel like we have been cursed. LOL. They are wonderful kids overall and just have bad days, like any other kid. First is Taylor, she's 10 and just finishing up the 4th grade, next is Alexis, she's 4 and just finished her first year of preschool, then there's Thomas, he's 2 and going into preschool next year, Last is Logan, he's 1 and the baby of the family. I am a SAHM, have been for 5 years this summer and Steve works at a retail store as a seasonal specialist. We also have 2 cats (ginger and oreo) and 4 dogs (shadow, sierra, tiffany and maggie). We live in a very tiny town where there's nothing to do or see really. It's one of those towns where everyone knows everyone else and their business. We are lucky enough to have the city pool and park a couple of blocks away and enjoy that in the nice weather. When I can find the time and energy in the same moment I enjoy sewing, taking photos, reading and scrapbooking.

So that's basically us in a nutshell. We're not too interesting or exciting but we are one big (usually) happy family.

First post

So this is my first post in my new blog. How exciting!!! I hope all who read this blog enjoy hearing about my family and all the stuff (good and bad) that we go through and anything else I feel like rambling about.

I planned on typing up a whole introduction for my first post but that will have to wait as I have a 1 year old screaming to get on my lap, a 2 year old jumping on and off of the scale, a 4 year old sucking her thumb (she knows she's not supposed to) and a 10 year old that will be home (or call) in a matter of minutes with LOTS to say. So the intro will have to wait for another time.
